The Melbourne City Council elections will be held by postal vote in October 2024.

If you are enrolled to vote, the Victorian Electoral Commission will send you a ballot pack in early October. Your completed ballot papers must be posted back to the VEC by 6pm Friday 25 October.

Unlike other municipalities, City of Melbourne holds two elections, one to elect the Lord Mayor and Deputy Lord Mayor, and the other to elect nine councillors.
